Disneyland Day 2

Michael wanted to wear his Tigger costume when he met Tigger at Disneyland. It was so cute when the real Tigger saw Michael. He got down on his knees and gave Michael the biggest hug ever! We met some of Tigger's friends as well.

Most rides were a 5 or 10 minute wait in line, but not for this new princess! We stood in line for an hour to see her. We love Rapunzel and the new Tangled movie! Right before we got inside to meet Rapunzel they told us that Flynn had gone to eat lunch but he would be back in about 20 minutes. So we decided to eat lunch outside of Rapunzel's tower hoping that we'd see him come back! Steve saw him coming, went and told him that Kaitlyn had just missed seeing him, and showed him where we were sitting (really though, he was just doing it for Kami & I). He came right over to Kaitlyn and I don't think she was expecting it 'cause she didn't know what to say or do. I got a picture with Flynn though (I still need to get it from Kami).

When we first saw Buzz Light Year they had cut off the line so we couldn't meet him. We just stood near him for a few minutes hoping that would be good enough, but when we left without meeting him Michael burst into tears! We made sure to make it back and meet him face to face and get his autograph.

Michael got to sit on Santa's lap while we were waiting to go to Goofy's Kitchen.

We went to Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel for dinner. The food was fantastic!! Steve & I both thought it was better than the Roof! It was a buffet and then there were 7 characters that came around every few minutes to meet us, take pictures, sign our autograph books, and talk & play with us. Dale was playing with our kids for over ten minutes! Throughout the night they would also have "baking sessions" with Goofy and dancing with Minnie. We ended up meeting Goofy, Minnie, Belle, Chip, Dale, & Pocahontas.

Our kids were SO tired at the end of the day. Walking back to the hotel they all 3 fell asleep in the stroller. They sure were great sports to go for as long as they did, though. We were pretty much there all day long from opening to closing.

Disneyland Day 1

Our first stop was to see Tinkerbell and her friends. There was no wait! We just walked right in!!

Kaitlyn was SO excited to go on her favorite ride...the Teacups!! Steve & Kevin wanted nothing to do that, so it was the mom's with the kids getting dizzy!
I think Michael has a little crush on Snow White. When we told him we were leaving to go to Disneyland his first words were, "I wanna see Snow White"!! And we rode the Snow White ride more than any other ride (I think he went on it at least 5 times). He said he likes it because "it's scary".

The last time we went to Disneyland "It's A Small World" was being renovated. We got to go on it this time and it was the cutest ride ever! All the characters in the ride (and there are A LOT) had some sort of Christmas attire on, and then they had "It's a Small World" song AND "Jingle Bells" playing throughout the ride with a ton of Christmas decorations throughout the ride. You would have thought it was a Christmas ride all year long for the amount of work that went into it.

We went to the Pixar Parade at California Adventure...

Michael wanted to sit next to his Dad on pretty much every ride...

Natalie came and met up with us in the afternoon after she got off work. She lives less than 30 minutes from Disneyland so she decided to come with us everyday! It was fun to have her there. The kids were really tired at night but we ended up being there until the fireworks show so we decided to stay. I'm so glad we did!! The Fireworks show was AMAZING! I read that they spend $19,000 dollars every show. It was all synchronized to Christmas music and the castle lighting up. They had the cutest song called "Can You Remember" and then it ended with "White Christmas" by Kellie Coffey. I can't figure out where to buy that song of hers, but if anyone can figure it out they will be my favorite person for life!!! I can't seem to find it anywhere (or at least anywhere that seems legit). You can listen to the song here: WHITE CHRISTMAS. It was so magical as White Christmas played and it snowed on Main Street!! There were SO many people and everyone just looked in awe...I think Kami, Natalie, Steve, and I were all were a little teary eyed.

Up in the Air

We headed off to California with our good friends the Woods. The kids were SO excited to ride on an airplane! Michael was sitting next to me narrating the flight loud enough for most of the passengers to hear, "Mom, we're going faster"..."Mom, we're taking off"..."Mom, we're gonna land". He loved it! Kaitlyn loved sitting next to her BFF Kyla and coloring, except on the flight home when she was freaking out because it was too bumpy and she couldn't draw straight. After the flight ruining her artistic skills and pinching her finger in the seat belt twice she had tears streaming down her face yelling, "This is just the worst day ever". I think all the partying at Disneyland had caught up with her! It was actually kind of cute.

We flew into Burbank and then took a shuttle (with a little bit of a scary driver) to our hotel that was really close to Disneyland. We enjoyed dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and that night we got in the hot tub on the roof of the hotel and watched the Disneyland fireworks from the rooftop. The hotel was awesome and our room had a living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Thanks so much Kevin & Kami!! They have got to be the nicest and most generous people ever!

Thanksgiving

We enjoyed "Thanksgiving Eve" at our house with the Terry's. We had pies and treats, shared our favorite scar stories, and Matt & Allison's families stayed and we played games 'til late! It was a lot of fun!

Thanksgiving Day was at my parents' house. Chloe's (my soon sister-in-law) family came too and it was fun to meet them.
