Finally Celebrating 5 Years!

After Steve finally feeling better from having the flu, we were able to celebrate our anniversary a little late. We went to my favorite restaurant--HAPPY SUMO at the Gateway. We tried some new sushi rolls and they were delicious as always! The best part of it all we had a gift certificate (Thanks Brent!) and without trying to calculate the amount we got the bill and were within 25 cents of the certificate amount!! We have a tradition of taking our picture every year for our anniversary and writing down what we did to put it in a little photo album...so here's this year's picture (taken by holding the camera out infront of ourselves).

Jazz Game..They Stunk!

Steve and I had never been to a Jazz game in the lower bowl, so my brother Jon got me and Steve lower bowl tickets to a game against the Lakers. They were great seats, not to mention the VIP dinner buffet before the game. As Steve put it, though, it was a lot of fun until the Lakers made their first basket. It was the worst I have ever seen the Jazz play--EVER!! They were horrible. Kyle Korver missed every shot and most of the game they were down by 30 points. Jon--if you ever want to take us to another game, we're in!!

Kaitlyn's Funny Sayings

Kaitlyn was upstairs with Steve last night. There's a scale in our bathroom that she loves to stand on and watch the numbers appear. Well last night Steve said she stood on the scale, put her arms up in the air and exclaimed, "I lost twenty pounds!"
Kaitlyn loves to put her meanest scowling face on (which is still way too cute), tilt her head forward, and say, "No Smilin' About It!"

5th Wedding Anniversary!

I thought I'd share my favorite wedding photos because Steve and I have been married for five years! We got married on March 8, 2003 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a wonderful day and I'm so glad we've been able to share five years together. Happy Anniversary, Steve! You're a sweet husband and father. I love you so much! I won't try to embarass him too much, but I just wanted to share a few of the things I love about my husband:

He makes me laugh,

He is a hard worker,

He loves kids,

He loves to help others,

He always helps around the house,

He tells me he loves me at least once a day,

He is my best friend.
