Logan turned 2 today!!
He came with me to preschool (as he always does) and loves to be one of the students. When Steve got home we all played in the backyard and Logan opened a couple of presents. He's a pretty talented candle blower too! We had donuts & ice cream to celebrate.
Logan weighs 23 pounds now! He still doesn't say much but seems to do a pretty good job at communicating through pointing, yelling, grunting, and saying a few words. He loves to wave goodbye when anyone is leaving and say "Bah-Ma or "Bah, Da". When I put him to bed I ask him if he wants me to sing him a song. He instantly puts his head on my shoulder and I usually sing "I Am a Child of God". Then 99% of the time I lay him down in his crib on his sheep pillow with his two blankets and never even cries or moves. Sometimes he even waves to me while he's laying down! I can't believe he's already two years old. I sure love ya little guy!
We started Kaitlyn's big day with a present from her aunt Natalie. She loved the princess book and princess shirt (this seemed to start a princess gift frenzy!)
We went to church today and she had a graduation from Nursery into Sumbeams! After church she got to help her dad make her birthday cake.
We decorated the table while she was down for a nap. Kaitlyn loves pink and princesses! She woke up from her nap a little groggy, came down the stairs and saw all the decorations and just stared for a minute. Then she ran back upstairs yelling, "There's presents!" to Steve. We had our own little party just with the four of us. Kaitlyn gave lots of great reactions to her presents.
